“I chose a really aggressive way to lose weight, which is to throw up.” Wendy shares vulnerably. Her battle with emotional eating led her down a path of unhealthy habits, leaving her health in jeopardy. However, Wendy’s turning point came when she received a wake-up call from her doctor about her deteriorating health.

“My health condition is not that good. I have to say, I went to the hospital,” Wendy reveals. The diagnosis of her stomach cancer index being off was a wake-up call she couldn’t ignore. Determined to make a change, Wendy sought guidance at MOVE Kota Laksamana, where she met her trainer, Han Ming.

Upon starting her training journey, Wendy realized that it was about more than just shedding pounds. “My trainer told me it’s not just about losing weight. It’s more about reaching the balance between your life, your health, and how you eat and how you feel,” she reflects. Embracing the concept of balance and moderation, Wendy embarked on a journey of self-discovery and transformation.

“I quite enjoy the life I have right now,” Wendy shares with newfound contentment. “It’s not about losing weight. It’s not about you having to slim down or looking perfect. What I enjoy the most is to have my morning walk with my family for wellness.”

Through Han Ming’s guidance and support, Wendy learned to find joy in simple moments and prioritize her overall well-being. “To be honest, I enjoy every moment right now. I think I forget that life is not always about numbers,” she admits. Wendy’s journey reminds us all of the importance of being realistic and healthy in our approach to weight loss.
