Before crafting a personal training plan, Chee Hao spent a lot of time to understand my motivation and constraints. Approach was holistic where he educated me about diet, hydration and techniques. I found the later very beneficial because I have done some weights training myself but probably injured myself without realising it. I am happy he always push me to achieve new breakthrough every week. I would recommend him to anyone.

I (Pang) started off just driving my wife (Kim Foon) to her Move personal training sessions. I’d wait and watch from the side, thinking it was probably too gentle to make much of a difference. But then I saw her improving—walking with more confidence, in better spirits, even sleeping better. That’s when I thought, maybe I should give it a go too.I’ve had problems with my leg for years, and I know I need to lose weight. But gyms have never worked for me—they’re loud, impersonal, and not made for older people. What I saw here was something different: calm, thoughtful, and respectful.Since training with MOVE, I’ve felt real changes. My leg’s been bothering me less, and I’ve started walking more without needing to sit down as often. I’ve also picked up some great advice on eating better—nothing extreme, just smarter choices—and that’s already helped me feel a bit lighter and more in control.What’s helped the most is that coach Chee Hao understands what older bodies need. It’s never about pushing past your limits—it’s about building strength and balance in a safe way.If you’re my age 70+ and thinking it’s too late to start, I’d tell you it’s not. I joined MOVE for 3 sessions to evaluate my level of fitness with Wei Shin as my trainer. I enjoyed my interactions with Wei Shin and found him to be friendly, pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. He was able to show me the more subtle nuances of executing certain types of exercises and movements and his communication skills was very good with clear concise explanations and instructions. I highly recommend Wei Shin if you’re looking for a personal trainer.

My son, Zayd, who is autistic faced some challenges to do the normal sporting activities that other kids do. After some sessions with Coach Vimal Wei-Shin, I can see his improvements. Running, kicking balls, throwing balls and he even tries to play tennis with me sometimes. We are also enrolling him for rugby trials soon. It will still be a journey for him but with the help and encouragement that he is getting from his coach, I believe he can excel!God willing.

I started my health journey with Hao back in December 2024, it was at a point where I knew I needed a change—not just physically, but in how I approached my overall well-being. Wei Shin @ move private fitness jln ampang is a solid coach! He understood what I needed - asked questions and spent time observing my training and general lifestyle. Next he setup a plan - based on my profile, what could work for me and tested, changed as needed. The plan was personalised and agile. Finally, by continuously guiding and pushing me, setting meaningful benchmarks so I continue pushing myself and improving (even if sometimes the gains were modest) he challenged me through it.I improved my strength, muscle mass at the same time reduce my overall body fat. Yes I had to commit to doing it consistently but Wei Shin will make sure you do it, assess timely (actual vs goal) and keep pushing..The best part he goes beyond the gym sessions to understand other aspects - nutrition, schedules, activities etc. would strongly recommend him.You will see results..

Have trained with Mikka for sometime now. Found him to be very structured and clear in helping me achieve my personal goals. Explains clearly and concisely what each exercise/ movement is supposed to feel like and what we’re trying to achieve with it so it doesn’t feel aimlessly repetitive, and so you don’t injure yourself doing the exercise the wrong way. He knows when to push you and when to take it a little easier which I like.

Good thing i have done is joining MOVE private fitness and having a trainer like Mikka. As a trainer he did not focus about your workout only, but more than that. He always ensure if your are comfortable in what you are working out and tailor it for you. That's make us more comfortable and easy even though some work out is really hard. All his techniques and advice has helped me to reduce my weight by 7kg over 3-4 months. Our recent trip to India was daunting task, but it keep us move easily because we are fit to encounter that. Thank you Mikka & MOVE and looking forward many more positive years!!

I’ve had one session with Coach Wei-Shin in Move Private Fitness Jalan Ampang studio and it’s already a fruitful one! The training doesn’t only include physical training and posture, but also taking in consideration of our lifestyle and personal life goals. I’m amazed by how detailed and thoughtful it is in assessing my current state and hence deciding on the training plan. I also have got some new knowledge and perspective about gym training. One of the useful takeaways is I learned to determine whether I’m using my core muscles, which is important when exercising by my own. Coach Wei-Shin also explained and demonstrated each exercise clearly and suggested a practical plan according to my current strength which allows me to include in my own training session. Well-deserved for 5-stars!

This was my first time working with a personal trainer, and Wei-Shin made the experience incredibly clear and motivating. Lack of clarity was something hindering me in my fitness journey. His explanations are rooted in science, which really helped me understand the why behind each movement. Proper technique and form are crucial to seeing progress, and his patience in guiding me through everything made all the difference.If you’re on the fence, just take the first step and everything else will fall into the right place. Strength training, especially for the lower body, is something everyone should do for better mobility as we age. Looking forward to working with him again soon!

It's definitely the best experience I've had in a PT program. The program was tailored to me and it was very personalised which is something you would be lacking of from a normal gym PT. It was finally easy with calorie counting and less stressful in finding the right rhythm to eating. I'm definitely more mindful to my food intake. Not forgetting the exercise movements that i was taught: I definitely started doing some of them at home after the first session! Some of the exercises definitely needs gym equipment but I love how they also shared things that we can modify and do at home or anywhere when you dont have access to a gym. Shout out to my PT, Leonard, you're the best! I definitely recommend Move to those who prefer a more private space and catered sessions that is more personalised ! They also have excellent tracks playing throughout the day (bonus!)

At first hesistant but turns out as no regret enrolling personal trainer. My coach has been a great help improving my personal fitness and also my personal knee issue. Managed to reduce my weight naturally without skipping meals or cut down meals as well. I had a slipped disc two years ago and didn't do much sports for a year. I was unfit and didn't trust my body when we started but the journey with MOVE has been great. Leonard is a great, patient and very knowledgeable coach. He helped me to slowly regain my fitness and confidence.. Just renewed my program and feeling better every week. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I had 3 trial sessions with Leonard at Move Fitness Ampang, and he was excellent. He took the time to understand my concerns about starting gym workouts and tailored everything to my goals and challenges. Leonard is highly knowledgeable, offering great advice on technique, identifying areas of tension or limitation, and explaining how to improve through proper adjustments. The gym itself is clean, spacious, well-equipped, and includes showers. I felt no pressure, just plenty of encouragement, as Leonard showed genuine interest in my progress. I’m looking forward to signing up and starting my training!

I’ve started working with coach Ikmal on my fitness journey since the 3rd of July and am exceptionally pleased with the progress so far.We started with the Live More Kickstarter (LMK) programme and eventually progressed to a 10-session package, which I’ve since renewed once to last me until mid December 2024.Coach Ikmal has a sports science diploma and degree which translates to his ability to structure tailor-made programmes backed by science which are based on an individual’s unique physiology and body anatomy - strengths, weaknesses, limitations and all.He’s able to provide insightful feedback on theories, approaches and methodologies within the area of fitness, strength training, nutrition, sleep and overall wellbeing while also providing an unbiased perspective on these aspects - typically fitness gurus, influencers and thought leaders may have a hidden agenda which is not the case with coach Ikmal.His balanced approach to push me during our sessions while also reminding me to listen to my body, external stress factors, quality of sleep when gauging if we need to dial things up or down, shows that he is an active listener who is willing to adjust my programme and intensity of workouts, given the need.Coach Ikmal is also great at asking for feedback and openly asks me if there’s anything that needs to be changed if needed.It also helps that he has a great personality and picks his moments to have conversations which entail our lives outside of simply working out.It’s been a great journey partnering with him on my fitness journey and looking forward to continue that as I progress during the months ahead.

Leonard has been an incredible guide in my fitness journey. What stood out the most were the key takeaways on how to get started in fitness and the importance of being intentional with every workout. His advice really shifted how I approach my training sessions. Leonard also provided valuable insights into making smarter food choices, which played a big role in my weight loss. While he didn’t prescribe a specific diet (as he’s not a dietitian), his suggestions to improve my current eating habits made a big difference. Highly recommend!
At first I registered online and received the inquiry the next day. By that I can tell the service is good this brings to the private training with Coach Ikmal which I found to be the right choice I had made. During the training Coach Ikmal led my program to be more less stress and focus more on my personal goal which is to sustain in my workout progress. He tracked my meal and ensure I have a fun diet management and I cannot appreciate him more as he is a committed person. I am planning to go for a long term program with Coach Ikmal as I am pleased for methods on delivering the program with excitement and motivations.

I started working with Ikmal when I was struggling to stay consistent at the gym, and it was the best decision I made. Ikmal made every session fun and exciting with his positive and happy attitude. He was knowledgeable and always prepared for each session! We set specific goals, including doing pull-ups and pistol squats, and building overall strength for my outdoor activities like hiking and kayaking.Thanks to Ikmal's guidance, I was able to stick to my program, and even now that I’ve moved away, I have reached my goal of doing pull-ups! I can’t recommend Ikmal and the staff at MOVE enough. They are fun to be around and their energy is contagious!

MOVE Private Fitness provides a comfortable environment for training, it is always clean and tidy. Going to gym has never been the thing I thought I would be doing. However, upon trying out Move and with the guidance of my PT Wei-Shin, it has become something that is enjoyable. I always feel intimidated in trying new thing but training in MOVE is a truly enjoyable experience! The facilities are clean and well-maintained. My coach, Wei-Shin, is knowledgeable, motivating and dedicated. Knowing that I started weight training with the intention of overcoming my plateau in yoga practice, he designed personalised program and shared with me anatomy knowledge that I'm particularly interested in. I have built strength and body awareness under his guidance and noted a significant progress in my yoga practice in less than 3 months. Coach Wei-Shin from MOVE Private fitness has coach me in tune my body shape. Wei-Shin is a passionate coach and helps you to reach your objectives within your limits. With him I managed to 28 loss -4.2% body fat and gain 5.13% in muscle mass within 3 months! My weight from 52.5 kg to 51.8 kg (loss -1.4%)Honestly happy with the results! Recommended
