Fantastic facility and program. Been working out here for just under 2 years - many others I see regularly have been there longer! This is my first time engaging with a personal trainer. My goal is to slim down my pregnancy tummy pouch which is with me for 8years. Have been committed twice a week Gym session with Coach Jay. I know the belly pouch will took some time getting rid of itI have experienced changes in my body.First, i noticed Arms are firm up, the fastest part that seen are the arms in 2weeks which I m quite happy looking my arms tone up n not flabby wearing evening gowns for dinnerLater on I realised I easily sweat than before. I have difficulty in sweating, I never/don't sweat at all when walking unless doing really hectic workouts.Thirdly, I have more energy than before and not easily tired. I had totally stop exercising for half a year and the sudden tired strikes so badly I don't find any motivation to even walk in the park, treadmill, or even going hiking which I love to do it before. After attending Gym in MOVE, my body feels lighter when walking n more energetic.Even the excercise are getting tougher, Coach Jay makes every gym session fun by making me quite confident in doing every move according to my own pace and capabilityLooking forward the day my mummy pouch gone and Thank you Couch Jay journeying my progress with me

I'm a skeptic when it comes to PRIVATE FITNESS, till I saw MOVE's FB testimonial ad featuring a personal friend! Pronto I reached out to MOVE, Matt contacted me swiftly and seemed to know his stuff very well, with a very warm welcome. Spot on. Non pushy, took my time to review a few more options but in my mind, I've already decided ~ MOVE it is. ;) Shortly after, Matt assigned me to one of MOVE's young and pro PT, he's none other than Coach Mueez. At first I wasn't quite sure...hmm...he's gonna be my PT?!Fast forward 3 months later, my results were on point and achieved my short term fitness goal i.e. to strengthen my grips, arm, legs and essentially core muscles as well.Coach Mueez, you've surpassed all my expectations. You allowed my own time own target to progress; a space to focus on the form, quality first vs quantity. Never pushy as much as at times you TRIED to push me to level up as you believed I can.Today, moving on to my 4th month, I've levelled up to 12kgs for RDL..huff puff...superset with 30kgs/10kgs of arm work and the whole works!Thank you Coach Mueez, your "NEVER give up" and "you can do it" vibe makes you an excellent and authentic PT!Anyone looking for a wee bit fun and serious workout, give a holler to Coach Mueez!!

I had been looking for a while for a PT to structure a strength training programme for me for but the challenge has always been my travel schedule as travel quite a bit. I chanced upon MOVE on IG and decided to give it a try. Coach Mueez was assigned to me and so far it’s worked out pretty well despite him having to train me remotely. He structured workouts for me via the app for when I’m away and I come to the gym when I come home to KL. He’s able to track my progress and checks in on me via the app and WhatsApp. Mueez is so easy to work with, encouraging and so accommodating. Each time I’m home, he assesses my form and progress and adjusts the workouts accordingly, keeps it challenging but also offers modifications which I appreciate for the days where I need to go lighter or heavier. His knowledge about our mucoskeletal biology and functional movement has been great for helping me understand why we do what we do. One of my goals is to increase my range of motion and improve overall mobility and he has worked in a whole set of drills to do just that. All in all, it’s been a good experience and I look forward to seeing more progress as the months go on. Thanks so much Coach!
Trainer Review for Mueez @ Move Gym!I show up once a week thinking I’ll just survive the session and Mueez shows up like a shot of espresso with legs. He’s young enough to be my son but somehow has me doing things I didn’t think I could (and laughing through the pain!).Every session is a mix of:-> High fives->Fist bumps->“Let’s gooo!” energy-> And just the right amount of “Stop, you’re pushing too hard!”He’s got that rare combo - motivator-in-chief + coach + genuinely caring human. Training with Move fitness is one of my best experienced yet. My trainer, Mueez is a very dedicated and a well trained profesional. What I like the most is the understanding of your pace and setting a structured module to achieve it. On top, taking care of your overall fitness well beings is highly appreciated. They ensure your fitness level endurances one step at a time. I have been training with Jihad Aslan for several months now. He is professional and knowledgeable, and supported me in my journey to be stronger.Jihad is meticulous about form, always correcting small details so I avoid injury and get the most out of each exercise. I truly feel I’m training smarter, not just harder. He also knows when to push and when to hold back so that you continue to progress and not burn out.Jihad is also impressively energetic in the mornings — his upbeat mood somehow makes those early sessions way more bearable.I always leave our sessions feeling accomplished and a little bit stronger than before.

Training with Jihad over the past 5 weeks has been a game-changer. Recovering from a meniscus tear, I was cautiously optimistic, but he took the time to assess my limits and strength before easing me into a program that was equal parts smart and savage (in the best way).Thanks to his technical expertise, results-driven mindset, and relentless motivation (I can't even slack off properly), I've gone from barbell squats with 20kg to confidently pushing 40kg. Gains aside, his sessions are always something to look forward to, not just for the sweat, but also for the sharp banter and good vibes.Professional, knowledgeable, and just the right amount of tough love. I would highly recommend Jihad if you're looking to get stronger, smarter, and maybe just a bit sassier.

I’ve been using a walking cane for quite some time due to a severe deterioration in my lower back over the past three years. In mid-October 2024, I underwent back surgery, followed by nearly six months of physiotherapy. Despite that, I still struggled with strength and mobility.Six weeks ago, I began personal training sessions with Jihad Aslan at Move Damansara Heights — and the improvement has been remarkable. I no longer need my cane, and I feel significantly stronger in both my legs and back. I currently train twice a week, but I’m considering increasing the frequency because of the incredible progress I’ve made.Jihad is an enthusiastic and cheerful trainer who intuitively knows when to push and when to ease off. Been training with Jay at MOVE Private Fitness for 7 sessions now, and honestly, he’s been really solid lah. Super chill guy but knows how to push you just enough without making it overwhelming. Every session got different vibes — never boring one. Can really see improvement in my body, and even mentally feel more motivated and confident. He’s very attentive, always making sure I do things properly so won’t injure myself. Got good energy also — very encouraging and steady. You can tell he really cares about your progress and wants to see you do well. If you’re thinking of getting a personal trainer, seriously, give Jay a try. Confirm won’t regret at all. 💪

First time working with a personal trainer and I’m so glad I found Coach Joseph. He’s incredibly attentive, accommodating, and made me feel comfortable from the start. What really stood out is how sensitive he is to body language—he can tell when you’re tired or feeling muscle strain and adjusts the workout accordingly. Great personal training gym with a strategic location as it is just next to the Semantan MRT station (3 mins walk). Trained here for 3 months twice a week with Coach Joseph. Started as a newbie to the gym, now I feel more confident to show up and lift weights on my own. Coach Joseph did a good job at curating our biweekly programs. Would recommend to anyone looking to start weightlifting!

Had a good 10 session training here with Coach Jonnath. My neck stiffness is lesser now and body muscle gaining more strength with the training. I’ve had several PT experience from other commercial gyms previously but training with Coach Jack Chen has been completely a game changing for me. He takes the extra mile to guide, explain and ensure that I really understand the process and reasons for each workout while providing support for me to push and perform better each session. His engagement with me has been very consistent whereby not only he checks on me during the PT session but also post session, just to see how I feel after the training or if I have any feedback and even questions with regards to my food selection, which I really appreciate.He has also thought me to set my mind and way of thinking right - that fitness, workout and nutrition is not about achieving perfection, but rather, a journey of consistency and sustainable decisions that ultimately become part of a lifestyle. This definitely helped with my love-hate relationship with workout and food and Im proud to say that now I have better self control and able to make better decisions when it comes to what I consume.Since joining MOVE, I know for a fact that I have become much more stronger and able to lift weights a lot heavier (from what I thought to be my max). It’s been a month since I have joined Move, and I’m glad I made the choice to restart my health journey post my back injury with Move. Coach Jack has been excellent in guiding me towards the right path in recovery and regaining my strength through very thoughtful sessions. Aside from my back, he spotted additional injuries and helped me improve my stability through rehab and activation exercises. I could not squat to save my life before I started, and now I could do several variations easily!In addition, he always catered to my energy levels, including my level of frustrations/stress from work and channelled them into my sessions to build my strength. His sessions were always above and beyond! For example, I had mentioned about not being able to complete a Pilates move, and he helped to show me some exercises to help me achieve it.Thank you Jack, and MOVE!

Jack Chen is an incredible coach who genuinely understands how to bring out the best in people. He’s extremely driven, and I love how he subtly sneaks in extra weight or makes the workout harder without you realizing it- until you’ve already done it! But what makes him stand out is his ability to push you just enough, never too far, but always enough to make you feel accomplished.As someone who’s been quite inactive, I’ve found most things in the gym challenging. Honestly, I didn’t think I’d ever enjoy it. But Jack has this way of encouraging you that builds confidence without feeling overwhelming. He celebrates every little win, and today, I was amazed at how much I was able to do- things I never thought I’d be capable of.My fitness journey is still a long one, but for the first time, I’m excited about the process rather than intimidated by it. This is my first experience with personal training, and I'm glad that I made this decision. Prior to this I had been doing home workouts for a few years. Now, with my personal trainer Joseph's guidance, I’ve learned how to engage the right muscles, maintain the correct posture, and have the proper stance when lifting weights. This has led to fewer injuries and better results overall. With his support, I've gained more strength and now lifting weights I never imagined I could.Beyond just strength training, Joseph has also helped me boost my confidence, improve my mobility, and taught me valuable lessons about self-discipline, especially when it comes to food. Joining and committing to MOVE fitness is probably one of the best decision made for both me and my husband. I can't thank my personal trainer Joseph Lien enough for all the help and guidance throughout these few months of training. His expertise and holistic approach in teaching me how to lift weights with the proper posture and sharing knowledge on sustainable diet has made a huge difference in my daily life. I started strength training with Joseph in August, focusing solely on building strength. Progress has been far faster than I expected, especially weight progression. This is especially reflected in my yoga practice where I can access and hold poses that require more upper body strength for longer periods.Joseph is incredibly accommodating, tailoring workouts to match my current strength and abilities—even helping me continue training effectively while recovering from a leg injury. I first joined Move as I wanted to address the pulling sensation I felt in my knees and sometimes pain. With the help of coach Azrai, both feelings of pain and pulling are now gone! His knowledge and ability to identify the movements and muscles that I'm weakest at have been necessary to help build the strength in my movements.

In preparation for my solo dance recital I had started my training sessions with Jack to help my body prepare for what would be a difficult journey given that I’m a mother of three and the body isn’t the same after childbirth. Jack is a patient ,understanding and detailed trainer who is hands on and is constantly teaching me methods to help ease my muscle aches and pains due to dancing. Seeing how his training helped me to strengthen my core and muscles I had roped in my two young boys to join his training sessions as well. Till today, even though we don’t get as much time to train with him like before, he still finds the time to check on my boys and myself if we are doing fine. Jack is a very disciplined and knowledgeable trainer who will surely assist you in reaching your goals.

Have been training with Azrai for more than 6 months now and have thoroughly enjoyed the sessions. I came in wanting to strengthen my legs as I get swelling from overuse, now my movement quality is much better and swelling has reduced significantly! Am now able to play padel without worrying I'll be in pain after. He has been helpful in educating me on the importance of correct form, would recommend their services.

I’ve been training at MOVE Damansara Heights with the amazing Coach Jamie for a while now, and I’ve never felt better! I’ve seen great results in 6 weeks and I’m so happy with my progress so far! 💯From the beginning, when I first signed up as a trial customer, Coach Jamie has always been attentive to my needs and taken great care to personalise the training program based on my goals.Due to my slight disability/birth defect, I have avoided exercise and sports-related activities almost all my life. Training with Coach Jamie has given me the confidence to workout and start taking better care of my health, and I’m always grateful for her meticulous guidance and expertise in modifying the workout plans to suit my unique needs.Here are some of the benefits I’ve experienced since I started training with Coach Jamie at MOVE:⭐️ Less tired after meals, once I took Coach Jamie’s advice to modify my daily diet⭐️ Able to walk longer distances and climb stairs without getting exhausted, which is super useful for me as I take public transport often⭐️ Had an easier time caring for my elderly mum when she was hospitalised—felt more alert and also able to push my mum in the wheelchair without feeling exhausted⭐️ Started feeling more confident as my body began to tone up, and also super happy to see that I lost 2.8kg within the first 6 weeks of training!I also wanna mention that MOVE Damansara Heights’ gym is well-equipped, clean, air conditioned, and accessible via public transport (about 5 mins walking distance from MRT Semantan). As someone who works a desk job and long hours, I find it difficult to stay active consistently. Honest review of MOVE Private Fitness. I am a food blogger and I have to eat different types of food for my work.I have been with MOVE for almost 5 months and I have lost almost 10kg during this period of time. I started with 104.8kg and I weight 95.2kg now.Losing weight while eating and traveling sounds impossible but I did it thanks to personal trainers / coaches Joseph and David for helping me to achieve that.I did many other things in the past like HCG and Keto Diet but it bounced back hard.I am still with MOVE at the moment and you can see the results of my sessions with them.Again, I am losing weight while enjoying my travel and food! It is hard to believe it but I made it. Thanks for making me slimmer and healthier!Health is wealth!

I have joined them for 3 months, I think the approach is realistic and sustainable. This is a better way in my opinion that a hardcore drastic way. Do it step by step, slowly but surely.Amylia is my Coach. She is very good, as she learns what I want to achieve, how my lifestyle is and guiding me to improve. She is good and I highly recommend her.All the coaches in the center are also very friendly and encouraging. Great place!

I signed up with MOVE Private Fitness 3 months ago and this is the first time I’m taking personal training sessions. Coach Amylia has been amazing and will structure the workouts according to my level of fitness and the workouts are fun and there’s a variety (yes, some can be hard but no pain no gain 😁). I love the workout place and the equipments that I have been introduced to. Would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a PT!

This is my first experience joining a gym and it has been great. I love how Amylia had personalised routines for me, targeting areas of concerns. Been dealing with knee pains and sudden weight gain for quite some time. Since early this year, Amylia had guided me throughout the stretching part and other routines including giving advices on diets. I like that Move is a private gym and my coach is very attentive.
