Been training here for about a month now and I can honestly feel the difference. Coach Ben has been a big help throughout the sessions. He’s very patient, clear with instructions, and always makes sure my form and technique are correct. I came in mainly to work on my posture and overall movement, and I’ve already noticed real improvements, especially in how I stand and move day to day. Sessions feel well-structured but not rushed, and I never feel lost or overwhelmed. Overall, it’s been a really positive experience so far and I’d definitely recommend Move to anyone looking to improve their posture, mobility, or general fitness.

Training with Faisal has been a great experience. Sessions are well structured, easy to follow, and always explained in a way that relates to my own pain points (back/knees/hips/ankles) & my daily lifestyle (eg., long hours of sitting & hunching). The training feels personalised, not generic.Before this, one of my biggest fears was injuring myself. Faisal pays close attention to form and posture, making sure I move correctly and safely during every exercise. It helped me feel much more confident with my movements, which made training feel safe instead of intimidating.The most obvious improvement was my years of chronic pain became significantly less. Even without weight loss, I’ve become stronger and more functional — daily chores, caring for my mom, and prayer movements feel easier.One thing that stands out is that Faisal genuinely believes in me — sometimes more than I believe in myself 😅 When he sees that I’m capable, he’ll (safely) push me slightly beyond my comfort zone so I can see my own progress. I never imagined I’d be able to walk/march holding 16kg kettlebells in EACH hand, but here we are 💪He’s also a great cheerleader. He notices when I’m struggling & offers encouragement at the right moments ✊🏻 And honestly, there were times I probably trauma-dumped about work stress during sessions 😬 Faisal listened patiently and never made me feel rushed or dismissed.Overall, I feel stronger, more capable, and more confident in my body than when I started, and that matters a lot to me. Thanks, Faisal! 🤜🏻🤛🏻p/s: i do agree with the previous comment on the suggestion to have cooling down/mobility work at the end of the sessions.

I joined MOVE from my other gym to continue training with Coach Ben, and was pleasantly surprised by the gym’s facilities and private+comfortable environment.He provides clear, hands-on guidance that helped me learn new exercises confidently while focusing on proper form. He will recommend me to switch up my workouts depending on my current fitness level and feeling for the day, gradually increasing intensity while keeping sessions motivating and fun. After just a few visits, I’ve felt noticeably stronger both in the gym and in other sports, which aligns perfectly with my goal of building functional strength.

Training with Coach Faisal has honestly been such a great experience. He always puts form and technique first before trying to go heavy by paying close attention to posture and movement so I feel safe and confident during training.I really appreciate his approach to diet and lifestyle as well. He encourages balance and a healthy mindset around food, without being restrictive or labelling foods as “bad,” which makes everything feel realistic and sustainable.If I mention that something hurts or if I’m low on energy, he’ll adjust the workout straight away. At the same time, he knows exactly when to push and motivate me by getting me to lift heavier than I thought I could, which is always surprising and empowering.He explains why we’re doing each exercise and what it’s helping with, and he also introduced me to powerlifting. It felt intimidating at first, but it’s been really fun and rewarding to see my body get stronger. My favourite is the deadlift!!I went in not expecting much and not really loving the gym, but now I genuinely look forward to each session and enjoy seeing my body transform. Faisal is positive, encouraging, and fun to train with, and in a short time I’ve gotten stronger, have more energy, and feel much more confident in my body. 10/10 🔥

I’ve had a great experience training with coach Eason. He took the time to teach me proper workouts and really focused on correcting my form, which made a big difference. He’s patient, encouraging, and always checks in to make sure I’m staying on track. Since training with him, my legs are noticeably stronger, and the pain from a previous ankle injury is completely gone. I feel more confident in my movements and workouts overall. I highly recommend training with coach Eason if you’re looking for someone knowledgeable and genuinely invested in your progress.

I used to train at Move in Bukit Damansara but had to stop because of logistical issues. So I trained with Coach Melissa at a different gym for about a year plus. Imagine my delight when not only Move Fitness opened a franchise near my house, but Coach Mel was joining them too! Training with Mel was like so different from my previous trainers. She focused not on how heavy I can lift but how to engage all the correct muscles to move effectively. As someone with spine issues, Im always afraid to try new things but Mel always ensures I do each movement safely so as to not trigger any pain. She takes my feedback regarding discomfort or pain very seriously and would think of modifcations of a workout to ensure I still get the same benefits. Outside the gym, she keeps me accountable on my nutrition in a non judgemental way and gives advice anytime I need it. I highly highly recommend Coach Melissa especially if youre someone older or with previous injuries who would benefit from her expertise on mobility and safe movement. Cant wait to train with Mel at her new place!

I’ve always lived a super active lifestyle, which also means… I’m always injured 😂 Back pain, sprained ankles, shoulder issues, injured arm….. yes, I’m basically a fragile girl who loves sports too much to stop. So I told myself: instead of spending money on treatments, why not invest in getting stronger?I chose MOVE Fitness mainly because it’s literally 5 minutes from my place. And that’s how I got assigned to Eason as my trainer.To be very honest, I doubted him at first 😅 Not because of him, but because I have trust issues + a terrible experience with a personal trainer in the past. That’s why I only signed up for the 3-session kickstarter package to “evaluate” him hahaha.But he proved himself fast. What made me realise he’s the right trainer was how he actually listens — he checks in constantly, adjusts exercises on the spot, and understands that every body is different, especially one with past injuries. He really knows how to train safely but effectively, step by step.It’s been 3 months with him now and honestly, this is one of the best investments I’ve made in 2025. No more back pain waking me up at night, no more shoulder or arm stiffness, and my posture + body awareness have improved so much.One day or day one, you gotta choose. If you’re looking for someone to guide you properly, I genuinely think Eason is an amazing coach to support you through your fitness journey. Thank you coach 😝💪

I honestly think taking up PT with Coach Eason at Move Ara Damansara was a great financial decision. I went into PT with two goals: to do body recomposition (lose fat and gain muscle) and to learn how to use gym equipment properly (the machines, dumbbells and the barbell, particularly to do squats, deadlifts, and bench press).Three months later, my body fat percentage has decreased by 4%, and my lean body mass increased, while my body weight stayed constant. I look and feel better too! Body recomposition goal: ACHIEVED.I also am way more confident using gym equipment now, and learned how to do squats, deadlifts and bench presses safely and with proper form. The weights I lifted with these moves were more than I thought I could, and it was only possible because of Eason.Eason is encouraging, adaptable, and knows his stuff. He tailored my training plan according to my goals, and both challenged and cheered me on to achieve them. He’s got a great sense of humor and makes training both fun and safe. Three months and 24 sessions later, I can say that he is an exceptional coach to work with and that taking up PT with Eason was a great financial decision.If you want someone who will guide you, encourage you, and help you to achieve your fitness goals, while making the challenging journey an enjoyable one, Eason is your guy!

I have had the pleasure of being trained under Eason. He is very attentive to my physical capability and always accommodating when I need to change my training slots. Eason is also very friendly and has a good sense of humour! Makes the 1 hour of training fun. But at the same time he can be stern! I would recommend MOVE to anyone who likes a private, quite, clean gym environment.

My trainer Eason is attentive, supportive of my goals to build strength. Eason made sessions enjoyable and light hearted. Applied the right level of training intensity and pushing me out of my comfort zone.Would recommend Eason to anyone looking for variety. Ask him for muay tai / boxing lessons for strength and agility.

I’ve been training with Coach Shane at Move Gym Ara Damansara since June 2025 – and what a journey it’s been!Being overweight made many everyday movements challenging — I often avoided certain motions, and even walking was uncomfortable and causing strain on my knees.My programme was customised to focus on my needs, such as ensuring proper hydration and sleep as part of recovery and overall wellness. Training sessions are designed to improve mobility, posture, and functional movements. Over time, I’ve become noticeably more mobile, stronger, and my stamina has improved significantly — in addition to losing weight and inches. Activities I once struggled with are now part of my routine.Through all this change, one constant has been Coach Shane’s support. A huge credit goes to him for his consistency, positivity, and unwavering commitment to my goals. He celebrates progress with genuine encouragement and has been instrumental in keeping me motivated. If you’re looking for a complete body & lifestyle makeover, look for Mr. Yeoh/Shane. His insane depth of knowledge, skills and experience will lead you to fall in love with gym. A well tailored workout + meal plan will be curated for you based on your experience and needs. All you have to do is put in the work and trust the process. I have been training under him for 3 months and am satisfied with the progress so far, mentally and physically.

I've been training with Shane at Move for two months now, and I've noticed real improvements in both my strength and flexibility. I initially sought out training because I wanted to learn how to exercise safely following a recent issue with my neck, and Shane has been exceptional in tailoring each session to accommodate that need. His approach is motivating, highly personalized, and always focused on helping me reach my goals. Each session is thoughtfully structured — challenging yet enjoyable — and Shane’s attention to form, technique, and progress tracking truly sets him apart. What I appreciate most is the positive and supportive atmosphere Shane creates that keeps me showing up consistently! Being a first timer to personal training, the overall experience has been most rewarding. Coach Faisal was very attentive towards my goals and in a matter of weeks, noticeable improvements were observed especially on core strength and endurance. When I first discovered MOVE through social media, I was drawn to find out more after seeing the different coaches being so professional with personal training.Here I am having completed my 3-months PT with Coach Shane since Ara Damansara branch started.I went in with expectations of just wanting to get myself more active physically, yet I’m gained more than that - able to do push up (never have I done it before), weight lifting and squad with more than 20kg.With the improvement in my stamina, I’m able to start running like before (5km/30mins), and a big switch in my mental health.Thanks to Coach Shane, he is knowledgeable, attentive and patient to provide me with tailored workout in a holistically approach. He often able to evaluate my fitness level accurately and push me to step out of my comfort zone.Shane has taught me that fitness not only stay in gym, but also lifestyle (nutrition, sleeping and stress management). There will be bad days that I don’t feel strong, yet he never make me feel any less but reminded me of what I’m capable of.If you are looking for a coach whom is passionate, adaptable and motivational, do look out for Coach Shane.

As a working adult, I barely had any time for exercise till none. It was time to make the change in my overall lifestyle.That's where I came upon MOVE Private Fitness where I was interested how they approached fitness differently than most gym that I enquired.I got connected with Coach Faisal under a 1-on-2 session (with a partner). It has been an amazing 6 weeks journey so far. He is very patient, encouraging and challenging me whenever needed to push the boundaries. His chill and funny demeanor makes the workout more entertaining.He has taught the importance of getting the form right, how tools can help if used correctly and type of exercises engaging different muscles. Being discipline, consistent and trust yourself is the key above all.I who could(thought so) only lift the lightest weight in Day 1 could now lift 4kg dumbbell.Coach Faisal is very insightful and shared what result I could expect at a certain period based on the consultation.I highly recommend Coach Faisal if you're looking to kickstart your fitness journey.The gym is clean and spacious. You may see other coaches session at the similar time but never clashing in using equipments as it's well planned and cater to each of the private sessions.

When i first got there for the first consult, I was skeptical. But after meeting coach Faisal he laid my doubts to rest, he said if I am diciplined and keep at it i will lose the weight, he said 1 kg per week. Now after nearly 6 weeks, I've already lost 5 kgs... I'm floored by the results. Obviously I had to watch what I eat too. But still its a nice suprise. Coach Faisal's methods are calm and inspiring, which suits me well, he was also careful to check if I had any prior injuries. I highly recommend him as a personal trainer!

I am training with Coach Shane. He is an attentive coach who focuses on getting the right mechanics without rushing, to ensure the form is correct for an even faster progression at a later stage and most importantly to avoid any possible injury.On top of that, he is also sensitive to my motivation/emotions and suggest ways to improve overall wellbeing such as stress and sleep management as well as encouraging some personal breakthrough!If you want to find a coach who focuses on you and getting your foundation strong before jumping to hard core workout and someone who believes in you when you don't, look for Coach Shane.

I am a mid-30s male with a sedentary lifestyle and my fitness levels were at an all-time low after becoming a new parent. I started training with Matt to keep up with my growing kid (I would get neckaches from piggyback rides, sore arms from carrying her and get out of breath from regular playing).Matt understood that I wasn't aiming for a change in aesthetics or to be at peak fitness, I wanted to be able to give 100% when I'm with my kid. We focused on building strength and mobility, and happy to say after just 1 year of training that I am keeping pace with my growing daughter and generally enjoy life more.Matt's coaching has a very human element to it - it's tailored to your needs, adjusted when progress stalls and the conversations during rest keeps energy levels up through the session. I was lucky to be introduced to Shane as a personal trainer. I tried different trainers prior to him, but he was the best one I had. He's very flexible, takes my goals seriously without making the workout session stressful and recommends the proper posture, position and techniques to target different muscles. I've always had a love-hate relationship with exercise but he definitely knows how to push and motivate you without making you feel like it's too hard! I recommend training with him wholeheartedly! :)

ive been training w coach faisal for quite a while now and i have enjoyed it all the way because he actually listens and tries to give the best advices and because of that ive gotten significantly stronger than i was before.
I have been coached by Faisal for close to a year now and the progress has been nothing but upwards. Ever since the first few months of training i have seen progression faster than when i was doing it alone and when i was with other trainers.When in training, Faisal heavily focuses on helping you achieve your own goals and adds more to that because his belief is that you can always achieve greater than what you have accomplished. He is meticulous, attentive and fun to be around with.If you are looking for a trainer, Faisal should be your guy.

I have been training with Matt Teo at MOVE for about three years. Those trainings have been rewarding to my health and fitness levels. I first started training with the intention of being stronger so that I could keep up with my toddler’s endless energy and still have the stamina to do everything else a working mom has to do. Many training sessions later, I can say that it is empowering to be able to move with ease, running with a toddler in the park and carrying a tired toddler without a stroller.Of course, none of this happens overnight. It takes time, effort and most importantly - the right support. Here is where Matt makes all the difference. He knows how to push you to make progress without making you dread a workout.People often overlook a trainer’s work ethics when selecting a trainer. Matt shows up on time, stays focused on you during the session and creates a safe and respectful environment.I genuinely look forward to my sessions with Matt. If you are currently dragging yourself through your workouts, it might be time to switch to Matt at MOVE.
