Before MOVE, I trained at another gym and stopped because I got pregnant. During my time there, I struggled to stay committed and didn’t really look forward to my workouts. Because of that, I thought watching YouTube videos at home would be enough after I gave birth.However, after months of low confidence and very slow progress from videos alone, I finally admitted that I need a coach!That’s when I took the time to survey gyms and finally settled with MOVE. I like that it’s private, not crowded, and that they focus on personalised coaching and real accountability.Jonathan is my coach at MOVE and I enjoy my trainings with him a lot. While I learned a lot at my previous gym, the level of attentiveness simply wasnt on par with what I get here…He does a great job guiding me, reminding me what I need to focus on in and outside of the gym, and tailoring everything to my postpartum body so training is effective and safe. Whenever I have any questions about my trainings or body, he could answer me straight. These are things videos can never do… with him, I never feel judged or pressured, which made a big difference in my confidence and consistency.More importantly, he is like my workout buddy who wants to see me achieve my goals! He checks in even after work hours to see how my body feels, how I’m recovering, and if anything needs adjusting… something I truly appreciate.He also helped me find the spark for working out through fun, varied exercises Beyond the physical part, I feel mentally supported having a coach like him makes such a big difference during a phase where both my body and mindset are constantly changing… especially postpartum, when motivation can be very low.Overall, training at MOVE has changed the way I look at working out. I realised that the end goal of working out is not just about aesthetics. Looking good comes naturally when you take care of your body… but the real purpose is health, longevity, and being able to show up fully for life.If you feel stuck, unmotivated, just gave birth, or simply wants a change but unsure where and how to start, I honestly think the right coaching environment matters more than anything else. For real guidance, accountability and someone who genuinely cares and is invested in your progress… you’ll be in very good hands with Jonathan!

I was quite nervous to start personal training, but Coach Jonathan made it a very positive experience. He’s friendly, supportive, and explains everything step by step (I am amazed by his patience). I have been training with Coach Jun Fai for the last 2 months, and it’s been a great experience. He’s extremely knowledgeable, motivating and pushes with kindness- which was what enabled me to start this journey and keep to it.In the past, I haven’t been able to stick to a gym routine because it’s either aesthetics driven, or it’s just too difficult to pick up especially being a newbie at strength training. At MOVE, it’s different. The focus is on what truly matters- which is your health, strength and mobility. More importantly, they took me at where I was, and I was able to start as a newbie without being overwhelmed, and keep to the routine of going consistently with them. At the same time, they offer good practical advise on diet to complement the workouts. Coaches are all friendly and they create a warm environment that is inclusive to all folks. Highly recommended!

I have been working with coach Jun Fai for 3 months and can notice my physical health changing for the better.Jun Fai is an experienced coach that pushes you and keeps you accountable during the work out. He also gives good advice to maintain your form for the exercises. He also ensures that you are comfortable with the exercise and will ask for your opinions on the session.Other coaches also encourage you during your work out. Overall a good vibe in the gym

If you're looking for a workout routine that is catered to you, I'd recommend MOVE. Your coach will discuss your goals with you and give you suggestions inside and outside of the gym to incorporate into your daily life that will help you achieve those goals. The space itself is clean, comfortable and well equipped - focusing more on free weights instead of machines. I worked with Coach Jun Fai who was friendly and motivating.

I’ve been training at Move Desa Park with Leonard as my instructor, and I really enjoy it!The workouts he gives me are both challenging and fun, and they’ve been great for improving my tennis performance. What I appreciate most is that it’s not just about workouts, Leonard also guides me on rest, diet, and stress management, making the whole experience very holistic.I also like that he doesn’t push protein powders on me. Since I already eat real food with plenty of natural protein, this approach feels much more sustainable.The gym itself has a great environment, with advanced equipment and a location that’s super convenient. I’ve been training with Junn Fai for about 2 months now, and I can honestly say he’s a great PT. In this short time, I’ve built up much better strength, gotten more consistent with my workouts, and overall feel stronger.What really sets Junn Fai apart is his personal touch and attentiveness. As a mom of 2 kids, my fitness goal was simply to get stronger and toner. After just 2 months with Jun Fai, I already feel the difference! I’ve been training with Chee Hao for a couple classes and I’m genuinely impressed with the experience. I’m so grateful to have found Jun Fai, a personal trainer who truly cares. He doesn’t just guide me through workouts — he genuinely checks in on my progress, both physically and mentally. He consistently goes the extra mile to help me reach my goals. Whether it’s adjusting my plan, offering encouragement, or just being there on tough days, he’s always one step ahead.He pushes me just enough and somehow makes tough sessions feel manageable (and sometimes even fun!). I met up and consulted Coach Francis (who specializes in rehabilitative exercises and training) as a slip disc patient and an amateur competitive athlete and I have to say: MOVE's approach is entirely different from a normal personal training session one would usually find at a commercial gym (MOVE's gym is also very bright!). Instead of focusing on aesthetics or even endurance, he tested me on my basics and focused his coaching more on the small things (ie. hip stability, core utilization, bad training habits) that would provide a bigger positive impact towards my training and subsequently competitions. Thank you Coach Francis - you have no idea how much it helped me.Even if you're not an athlete and want a basic exposure to fitness, is fresh out of physiotherapy/rehab or just looking to live a healthier lifestyle but do not know where to start/not comfortable in commercial gyms, I definitely would recommend MOVE! Plus point: the location (Plaza Arkadia) is very accessible and parking is quite cheap.

Before I started training, my biggest concern was my diet. I've never went for any PT sessions before, and Francis was my first personal trainer. I have zero knowledge on anything exercise related but with his guidance I finally managed to actually exercise effectively. He is super patient with me (had to keep reminding me what each exercise was and how to do it!) He changes the types of exercise according to my needs and also depending on how frequent I come in for a session. Would recommend Francis as your PT! :) I could actually see results~
